There was a film released five or six years ago, 'Margaret's Museum', set around Sydney, Cape Breton in the '20s, which featured a scene at a dance in the town. The musicians were Kyle and Seamus MacNeill (from the Barra MacNeills) and the tune they played for the protagonists to waltz to was 'Niel Gow's Lament...' The film is well worth seeing by the way - the unlikely lead is Helena Bonham Carter, who puts in an excellent performance, spot on CB accent and all.
