I thought I'd post a response to this, sorry if its already been asked.

I haven't got Linux on my PC at home but am thinking of putting on Mandrake
or Redhat. Has anyone had any luck with getting the Creative Labs USB
cameras to work with these distributions? Ironically it doesn't work with my
current set up which is Windows 2k, so I hope Linux will be better:-)

cheers,

rod

Hi,
I found SuSE one of the most flexible distros about
and I have used it since V5. The installer is *very*
logical. Saying that, I run Debian or Salckware most
of the time but in my opinion SuSE doesn't sucks (I
run it on a Laptop and it worked where RedHat failed,
when I configured my sound card). A Linux distribution
has to be chosen very carefully, it's not whatever is
popular or 'doesn't suck' it's what's right for YOU.

That's my thoughts...
