Do you have any other computers with a CD Drive? If so then there are many weird and wonderful ways of getting it to talk to your laptop. Otherwise you could try downloading a bootable mini Linux distro with PCMCIA support onto a floppy, copying the required files off the Debian CD, onto the laptops hard disk and taking it from there. If you let use know what resources you have access to and what files you need off the CD then we will be able to be of more help.
