Hi

I was looking into this the other day as part of a wee fantasy where I had
some money and would be able to not have to lift floorboards to run cable to
get network access upstairs.

This is the beastie you need AFAIK

which should plug into an existing ethernet. Not so sure of security, mind
you. Dabs had them when I checked, and they also had the best price.

I went for the floorboard option in the end. :(
