<stop snip as someone stole me scissors> I agree that the SLUG should remain flexible, non structured and free. Not being able to go to many meetings due to distance, I would find it hard to make even a 1 off payment. I am a confirmed Redhat user (on 1 machine at least) and tried Mandrake 7.1,7.2 and 8 and am really impressed. I think that it offers good support and an "easy" route for people to start using Linux. I will chip in my 5 too, if this will keep Linux Free :) Gordie (Scissorless) -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
