I agree that the SLUG should remain flexible, non structured and free.

Not being able to go to many meetings due to distance, I would find it hard
to make even a 1 off payment.

I am a confirmed Redhat user (on 1 machine at least) and tried Mandrake
7.1,7.2 and 8 and am really impressed.  I think that it offers good support
and an "easy" route for people to start using Linux.

I will chip in my �5 too, if this will keep Linux Free :)
