option "-O use-global-tmp". Is there a good reason why that approach
couldn't be used for "simple"?
(We moved to session-specific tmp-directories because there were
problems in sharing a single directory - we use sb2 on multi-user
hosts. In general, I'd rather use the same strategy for all "official"
mapping modes..)
