Did this happen with 4.0.3?
Does \033OA or \eOA look familiar to you, seems like whole input buffer is
getting filled by this?
Is there any specific application which comes to mind, that you were running
in screen at time it happened?
What terminal do you use?
Can you provide output of `env`?
Can you also share your .screenrc?
