This issue may be related to bug #54458.
I tried to test bug #54458 on the newer version 5.0.1 and found a new one. I
have Debian 13.0, glibc 2.41, x86_64, XTERM(389). How to reproduce:
1. Open a terminal emulator
2. $ screen
3. *C^a A*
4. Change title of the screen
5. Resize terminal
Now the title is empty and you can't change it by pressing *C^a A*, however
*title* command works.
