I didn't find the UI such a problem, but there is an operational complexity that requires a LOT of practice. Some of it may have had to do with the depiction of a 3D space on a 2D display, but I found that selecting control points did not work predictably or consistently, which led to much frustration -- there is enough of a challenge with the UI learning curve, but to add operational frustrations was more than I wanted to mess with.
