Yep. Scribus doesn't use most of the advanced OpenType tables/features (pair kerning, true small caps, old-style chars, etc) but it'll use OpenType fonts to the same level as TrueType or Type 1 fonts. The only major limitation is that Scribus can't embed or subset OpenType fonts - it has to convert them to outlines on PDF export. -- Craig Ringer
