Usualy any bitmap (picture, image) what go to print need to be a 300 dpi or
more (300 is generaly enaough) on 1:1 layout and print size.?If print size is
biger then layout like 10:1 proportion probaly the layout need to try, in some
case is enough 900 dpi but can be 1200 or 1600; depend very much the print
tehnic and the material support (paper; mesh, poliplan, etc)Sorry for my english.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!

The shadow is one of the features not exported to scribus.
But it helps anyway. I make two frames with the same text, the first as
suggested transformed to path and export as svg -? works perfectly.? The second
one (shadow) with blur (Unsch?rfe) and then export as bitmap.

If I export a text as bitmap with 300dpi I can still see the "stairs" in the
text when zooming, can I be sure it won't be seen in printing?

Thanks
Jean-Luc
