Why are you still using 1.3.3.14? The release candidates for 1.4.0 are more up to date as are the versions from 1.3.5 to 1.3.9. I recognize that 1.3.3.14 is the only one considered "stable". but the fact that snapshots of 1.4.0 release candidate 3 are made available menas that it is are stable enough to be used, and since it is still a release candidate any problems you may have will likely be attended to. Since I have a Slackware Linux system I have the luxury of overnight builds of the latest Scribus 1.4.0 and 1.5.0. I just tested each with tiff files. I had no problems. No one is working on 1.3.3.14 any more. So if you have uncovered a bug it won't be fixed. -- John Culleton 2401 Haight Avenue Eldersburg MD 21784 (410) 795-1159
