#+2 would be usefull yes.

But in many usual user-friendly workflows the pages move : some are inserted,
or deleted, texts grows, shrinks, linked
text frames multiply, document live.

So it seems to be powerfull if we might be able to write (#aref) in a frame, so
that the printed number would be the
page number of the object appearing to be called 'aref' in the outline window.
That would enable to edit totaly the style of the page number, text before,
after (a semi automated creation "at the end
of the frame" would not enable this).

Of course, this would require to take into account the numbering preferences
for the "destination page" (not the calling
page).

Good aswell : this solution would enable to "follow" a part of the text
changing page in a growing or shrinking text
flowing in a set of linked text frames : it would just require to insert an
inline little frame and name it
'myanchorlink' (name displayed in the outlinewindow), and have that reference
in the (#myanchorlink).

(This leads toward index tables, but thats another question, isnt ? or maybe
not...)
