But in some cases, storing everything in one file is really quite comfortable. For example, if you want to just save documents on the disk, it is easier to navigate with them with single files than with folders. I always hate it a little bit that I have to create an own folder for every Latex document I write. With normal word processors, like OOo or MS Word, everything comes handy in one package. I would definitely vote for this function (I don?t know if this is currently available in Scribus or not). Also, uploading documents, sending them via email etc. is much better if they are already in one file. Not everybody knows how to create zip files, and not everybody wants to pack and unpack them first (me included). It would be good to have an option whether to work inside a directory or whether working from a compressed archive, though. For example, first work in a directory, and if the document is then completed, just save the file as an archive.
