That did not work either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I'm still coming up blank. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it.
Again, I'm running (or attempting to run) Scribus 1.4.5 on Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit. I have also installed gs915wc64 ghostscript. The document still turns blank when I switch to preview mode. I can't export to PDF, JPG or print anything -- they all turn out blank. Please help as this is a work project that I'd really enjoy not to do twice. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Ana Ferrer [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2015 2:55 PM To: 'Scribus User Mailing List' Subject: Re: [scribus] Blank Preview Uninstalling ghostscript and attempting to preview did not work. I'm running scribus 1.4.5 on windows 7 professional 64-bit. I'm going to try uninstalling scribus and then I will reinstall ghost script, scribus 1.4.5 and see what happens. After that I'm at a loss. I just downloaded this program on Thursday and am a fan of it, but I need to be able to print and export easily. -----Original Message----- From: Ana Ferrer [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2015 2:43 PM To: 'Scribus User Mailing List' Subject: Re: [scribus] Blank Preview I'm currently running 1.4.5 but I'm uninstalling the ghostscript and will try to print/export without it, if that doesn't work then I will uninstall completely and try again. -----Original Message----- From: John Culleton [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, February 10, 2015 1:39 PM To: scribus at lists.scribus.net Subject: Re: [scribus] Blank Preview On Tue, 10 Feb 2015 14:24:25 -0500 "Ana Ferrer" <ana at movers.com> wrote: > I had no problem printing my document > yesterday, it's not the fonts. What flavor to Scribus are you using, on what platform and have you updated anything besides Ghostscript? I usually recommend installing Ghostscript, Imagemagick, TeX and Gimp first and then installing Scribus. If you did things in a different order perhaps you should reinstall the latest stable Scribus, which is either 1.4.4 or 1.4.5 (I use 1.4.6.) again.
