Dear Wena-Parry, seems there is at least one other person working on something rather similar, if I remember correctly. It might be worth searching the archives to connect possibly with him or her.
Your problem is somewhat special in that you say "my font looks too small", where in Scribus you got full control of your font size. Seems that you want to stick to a certain layout and are now looking for a font "which provides better readability although it is set to a rather small size"? I have not come across that so far, but we are using Charis SIL with good success here in West Africa. The font was made "for laser printers" which is a euphemism for not-always-perfect print-quality. (We print only 16pt or bigger, but our readers often do not have access to reading-glasses, although they would need them; so our context somewhat simulates your needs.) I trust that your print quality is just right, but you could experiment with Charis SIL and see whether its rather humble and strong shapes provide good readability for your document. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charis_SIL hth Martin On 20.01.2016 14:53, wena-parry at talktalk.net wrote: > > > Normal > 0 > > > > > > > MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 > > > > I have > produced a book of bilingual hymns of 203 pages.
