I would concur with a.l.e's suggestion that you should generate your book in A5 format rather than converting. Separate from the actual book creation, you should be able to make some sample pages with typical text, then play around with fonts and font sizes, printing them out as you decide. Remember you can make fractional font sizes, like 8.6 or 9.3 points. You may also find that you need a slightly larger size of one language or the other, depending on legibility. Playing a bit with linespacing may be needed. Greg
