I was wondering about that. Shouldn't every shared object (except maybe libc) 
and its associated data be embedded in the AppImage? Otherwise won't the 
AppImage remain tied to the distribution where it was built.  Regards, William

For Python to work correctly from the AppImage, Python needs to be
bundled inside the AppImage. I suggest this should be fixed, so that
the AppImages can become first-class citizens.
