I vaguely remember that there was an option to let text run along a path, for

If this is true, how would I proceed? There is a logo, and I would like to have
text run all around it: motto, address, web URL, telephone no. etc. The goal
would be to form a circular sticker.

On my system, there is 1.4.6, but I could use the latest appImage as well.

Hi Rolf,

I think what you're looking for is the Path tool. I am presuming that your logo
will be something created in an image frame, but you will need to use text and
a shape, such as a circle.

1. Create your logo.
2. Make a circle which outlines the logo.
3. Make a text frame and put your text into it.
4. Hold down Shift, click on the text frame, then the circle, so that both are
selected.
5. Go to Item > Path Tools, click on Attach Text to Path. Your text should be
placed around the circle.

You can still edit the text using Story Editor, adjust the font and its size,
etc., and edit the circle in Properties or elsewhere. For example, you may find
that your text starts at a 3 o'clock position on the circle -- just rotate the
circle to get it to start where you wish. Adjust size and shape of the circle
as needed, and position over your logo.
