Hi All I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with XML parsing using Nokogiri and dealing with encoding issues. In particular, I'm having a really tough time getting Nokogiri to work with some UTF-16 encoded files. I have tried a few other parsing libraries, and also run into problems. The only library that I have had success with is XmlSimple, but this library does not offer many of the features that we need for this project.
Ideally you have used Nokogiri before and more important have a good understanding of how encoding works in Ruby. I have learned the basics during this challenge, but would really love to get some input from someone who has deeper knowledge of encoding.
