Here's the plan for Octobers SDRuby

INDEXING: THE SECOND PILLAR OF DATABASE DESIGN.
Guyren Howe will discuss how to design the most effective indexes for your
application.

ACCEPTANCE TESTING YOUR APPLICATION
Hillary Hueter will give us some practical guidance on acceptance testing
any application. The focus will be on best practices and tools for creating
a useful and productive Acceptance Test Suite.

FINDING YOUR PROGRAMMING LEARNING STYLE
Rob Kaufman will talk about how different people learn programming topics
and give some tips for each of the common styles. We'll also talk briefly
about how to find the mix of techniques that is right for you.

RAFFLE
We'll be giving away a few ebooks, software licenses, etc!

AFTERPARTY
After the meeting, we'll head over to Rock Bottom Brewery for a round or
two of drinks.

DIRECTIONS
Meeting are held on the UCSD campus, at 7:30pm, on the first Thursday of
the month. If you plan to drive, follow the directions below and make sure
to get a parking pass.
