You don’t say whether you’re looking locally or are ready to go wherever
the job takes you. Though I'm just looking for remote and freelance works,
and though it clearly says “remote”, I frequently get offers of positions
in various parts of the country from recruiters who find my resume on
CyberCoders, Monster, and maybe a couple other such places (I’ve taken to
putting a phony phone number because so many recruiters called). My current
client found me at RubyJobs.com <http://rubyjobs.com/>. Check out the many
job boards you get by googling 'ruby jobs’ (just the words). Do as much as
you can to both seek out positions, listed and unlisted, and be found by
those looking for someone like you.

Prepare for interviews by finding articles about interviewing, both general
and Ruby/Rails in particular. Toptal.com had a good one not long ago. Have
some idea of where you want your career to go to get the best fit. Look for
a place where you can learn a lot, where they are open to new technologies
and ideas. Search for more advice on landing a job that suits you. Good
luck!
