for a
an experienced Software Engineer here at Q-Centrix. I've attached the job
description below. In short we are looking for an experienced web developer
(3+ years) to join our team of 16 people in our Hillcrest location. Our
company
helps improve the quality of health care through our reporting tools. We run
multiple rail APIs backing ember and react JavaScript clients.
Our challenges include:
- Utilizing NLP to improve quality and efficiency of medical data
abstraction
- Implementing behavioral economics and HCI improvements to our
existing application
- Monitoring and reporting on patient care to help hospitals prevent
mistakes

We are hiring for an on-site Software Engineer to join our 16 person San
Diego
engineering team. Our development stack is Ruby on Rails APIs backing
React
and Ember front end clients. We utilize a Scrum process paired with a
strong
testing culture and continuous integration.

*About you*
You might be a good fit for this job if you have the following qualities
and
skills:
- 3+ years of web application development experience, preferably in ruby
and Ruby on Rails.
- Strong software development skills and best practices including:
- Testing mindset
- Object Oriented design
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Experience leading a development team / project a plus
- BS in computer science or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Comfortable in a CLI/POSIX environment
- Modern JS frameworks (React/Ember) experience a plus
