Re: (313) Partial DEMF lineup
I saw Mark Ernestus and Model 500 at last week's Bloc festival - both WAY better than the last time I saw either. Model 500 in particular are much tighter and focused than previous shows I'd seen. cheers Jason On 10 March 2010 18:22, JT Stewart etmach...@gmail.com wrote: I think it looks decent for sure. I have no idea what Plastikman live will sound like, I'm open to it though. Sure thought it was godawful the last time he was a headliner, boom boom boom OK I'm going home. Hoping to go.. Re: (313) VIBES
Hey everyone thanks for the tips... It turns out that Gramaphone Records was able to sort me out, and they are right down the street from me. The funny thing is, I didn't check there sooner because I never knew they really carried Detroit house. It turns out they do, but they don't put it out in the shop, they keep it in a back room and you have to check their website to see what they have. Anyway, they are really helpful there and I was able to preorder the Rickwilhite presents and the Robert Hood house track... ~David On Wed, Mar 17, 2010 at 9:42 AM, jwan allen jwan.al...@gmail.com wrote: I feel you. Feeling Tevo Howard on selected tracks at the moment too. I prefer the less acidic stuff tho and not all his stuff is essential for me. The Crystal Republic LP has a couple of great moments (title track and particularly Glass Ceiling which is awesome). That new Reggie Dokes is great too. A hit and miss producer for me (I like the fact he pushes though). The new WPH reminds me a little of the style he did for Clone. Talking of WPH related stuff San Soda's VoorMensenMetLekkereDorst is a killer slow techno track. Latest Omar S (with the too short SkynetB track). The previous 12 with the Divine sung 'Here with me' is good too. Floating Points People's Potential white label is nice (though the vacuum boogie 12 is the thing to pick up from him). The Oliver Who Factory on their label Madd Chaise, Never Say Never the highlight for me. There's loads of good music around right now. robin... (313) what's up with Ultradyne?

(313) Overlooked 313 Albums
On the last track of K.Hand's art of music CD. Bought this on a whim and very impressed. Has a bit more electro type sound and is more intricate than the other stuff I heard from her (but I haven't heard much). If you like well done electro-influenced techno and don't have this album, give it a shot. What are some other 313 albums you think are overlooked?
Re: (313) what's up with Ultradyne?
I don't know if Alex is on the list anymore so I'll chime in...Ultradyne is no more, Alex Dennis aren't making music together anymore. I think Alex said he hadn't been working on music for awhile but may again soon.. Score. I love this stuff. Even if they're just screwing around, old, collecting checkstubs, and talking themselves up.
