Fluxion is definitely a cut above Martinand perhaps the least dubby of the Chain Reaction artists on their roster at the time. More recently, that artist has moved away from the head-nodding BC repetition vibe and cut out a more melodic vein - whilst still keeping things stripped-down. Check out D-Teck especially - it appears you can buy a downloadable version from the label. I recommend it, in fact http://www.store.vibrantmusic.com/ Go on, trust me, chuck 'em some money... Ha, well you made me go back to listen to "Subliminal State" (Echocord 36) and I think "Life Has Changed" is incredibly deep and funky. It has that weird percussion that sounds like someone whacking the wall of a small courtyard with a broom... Haven't heard this one yet...but if it is more melodic, then I will have to check it out. The last few Echochord records have really bored me to death, including that Quantec release that received rave reviews. --Original Message-- From: kent williams To: list 313 Sent: Sep 3, 2009 1:43 PM Subject: (313) Echocord 39 Fluxion Induction/Elation Just got this from Boomkat, liking it. Just got this from Boomkat, liking it. A bit like the old Fluxion but a little less hazy, more consciously melodic. What do others think. Definitely something I could play out to good effect.

There are some very nice textures (factory sounds?) that expand/expound upon the trademark CR sound. Lots of tracks with a fairly prominent 4x4 beat. Overall I'm a bit more impressed than I remember being with the first Vibrant Forms disc. I'll put in Disc two when I get home tonight... -- There4IM
Fluxion - Vibrant Forms II
Anyone heard this latest 2xCD on Chain Reaction? Jernej
Fluxion from Chain Reaction
Can anyone point me to even the slightest bit of info regarding K. Sublis, the individual behind the Fluxion records on Chain Reaction? Primarily, I trying to figure out his/her first name, and city/country of residence. I'm doing my best to piece together a short bio.
