RE: (313) Discogs.com question
Discogs is also been a great place to meet like minded people. I have met up with some great people from the website and even put on an old house/techno and acid night which would have never happened otherwise. Thanks to all who came down or played at "Jack's House" last Halloween Big respect! :o) I hope to do another one later this year! -Original Message- From: Ralf Gill (healthAlliance) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 29 March 2004 20:30 To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: (313) Discogs.com question Wondering why would one want to put up a list of all the records in their collection if they weren't for sale? RE: (313) Discogs.com question
I've had mune up there for a few years now...there is a way to go there and make your collection private so that no one else can see it. That way, no one will ask you to sell it. It does happen all the time now, but I have scored some real deals out of there... If you have a huge problem with it let me know...I am a moderator and I will bring it up in the mod forum to see if maybe something else can be done about it. It is common... I have sometimes emailed ppl to see if they would part with things., just as I get asked if I want to sell stuff...
