Re: [AI] NVDA on web pages
Hi, You have unchecked the wrong option. * enable/check 'report links' once again * disable/uncheck 'report if clickable' to resolve your issue The NVDA.ini file didn't resolve this issue itself since I have kept the 'report if clickable' option enabled/checked. I would also recommend you, and anyone else interested in switching from JAWS to NVDA, to take a look at this article: community.nvda-project.org/wiki/SwitchingFromJawsToNVDA It describes in sufficient detail the major differences between JAWS & NVDA. Re: [AI] NVDA on web pages
hi, Please note: If you replace the nvda.ini file while nvda is running, it would not work on next nvda start. This will be successful if the saving current of nvda on existing option is made off. To make enable the externally pasted setting, do the following. Method one: 1. Make ready to paste the nvda.ini file. 2. close running nvda. 3. Now there will be no voice outcome, but just press control+v. The nvda.ini file will be definitely pasted. 4. Restart nvda and enjoy the setting. second Method: 1. activate jaws or narrator instead nvda. 2. Paste the nvda.ini file at user/roming/nvda folder. 3. exit the running screen reader and start nvda. Third Method: 1. Go to general setting. 2. uncheck the save setting while existing nvda option. 3. Exist nvda. 4. Restart nvda. 5 Now paste nvda.ini file replace the old one!). 6. exit nvda and restart it. 7. goto general setting and check the previously unchecked option. Enjoy! Hey, Ekinath Sir, I had shared my NVDA Settings file to you, but perhaps you missed that e-mail. Here it is again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/u4jctaplwpzt6mm/nvda.ini?dl=0 Check out the table-related and clickable-related options in the Document Formatting settings dialog, experiment a bit and you will understand what to change to achieve what is required. There isn't anything in the Browse Mode settings dialog that you need to change according to your description of your issues. Thanks.
