Hi Phil,

My apologies for the confusion. However, the main purpose of the
CustomerService.ListAccessibleCustomers

is

to retrieve only the list of accounts that are directly accessible by your
OAuth credentials. This being said, even if your OAuth credentials have
directly access to your MCC, this service will not include the sub-accounts
under your MCC unless your OAuth credentials has direct access to your
sub-accounts as well.

If you want to get the accounts under your manager account, you may use
customer_client

resource

instead. Below query should work to get the said accounts.

SELECT customer.id

customer.descriptive_name, customer_client.resource_name,
customer_client.client_customer, customer_client.level,

Hi, I imported the Java Client Library through Maven with the dependency:

 com.google.api-ads

The problem is that after obtaining a GoogleAdsClient, I want to use the
method getGoogleAdsServiceClient().

And it shows the following error:

 java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com.google.common.base.Preconditions.checkArgument(ZLjava/lang/String;CLjava/lang/Object;)V

I think the error has to do with the Guava version having to be above 20.0,
for what I have been investigating, although including that dependency:

 com.google.guava
 guava
 27.0.1-jre

The problem persists,

It appears the different versions are in conflict, have you seen this
before?

Doing a: mvn dependency:tree | less | grep guava, we get the following:

[INFO] \- com.google.guava:guava:jar:27.0.1-jre:compile
[INFO]+- com.google.guava:failureaccess:jar:1.0.1:compile

Any idea on how to fix this?

of

the Google Ads API which is the equivalent of the TargetingIdeasService

the AdWords API to generate new keywords ideas.

2019-02-19 Thread Phil
Ok, this is really helpful, thanks. Since that explains that issue, I am
going to loop back now to my original issue which is that for some reason,
I cannot access my MCC sub-accounts using the MCC's refresh token. This
used to work fine prior to the addition of the requirement of the
login_customer_id header, however it no longer works. I do pass the
login_customer_id in with the sub-account's customer ID when building the
python client instance, but I'm met with an error 403 whenever I try to
perform any operations. I'm going to try to get some detailed log
information and post it here.

Hi,

For the parent demographic, you can refer to this link

for the enum values. As for the marital status, I am afraid this is
currently not supported in the AdWords API.

Maven dependencies Java Client Library

2019-02-19 Thread Agustín Scigliano
Hi, I imported the Java Client Library through Maven with the dependency:

 com.google.api-ads
 google-ads
 0.6.0

The problem is that after obtaining a GoogleAdsClient, I want to use the
method getGoogleAdsServiceClient().

And it shows the following error:

 java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:
com.google.common.base.Preconditions.checkArgument(ZLjava/lang/String;CLjava/lang/Object;)V

I think the error has to do with the Guava version having to be above 20.0,
for what I have been investigating, although including that dependency:

 com.google.guava
 guava
 27.0.1-jre

The problem persists,

It appears the different versions are in conflict, have you seen this
before?

Doing a: mvn dependency:tree | less | grep guava, we get the following:

[INFO] \- com.google.guava:guava:jar:27.0.1-jre:compile
[INFO]+- com.google.guava:failureaccess:jar:1.0.1:compile
[INFO]+-
com.google.guava:listenablefuture:jar:.0-empty-to-avoid-conflict-with-guava:compile
[INFO] | \- com.google.guava:guava:jar:18.0:runtime
[INFO] | | | +-
org.glassfish.jersey.bundles.repackaged:jersey-guava:jar:2.25.1:compile

Any idea on how to fix this?

Google Ads API BatchJobService for multiple entity types

2019-02-19 Thread Dennis Yemelyanov
In AdWords API it's possible to make changes to multiple entity types using
BatchJobService, for example create a campaign, ad group and ad in the same
request. Is it possible to do the same using Google Ads API? The
documentation mentions mutate methods, but each mutate method seems to
accept only one entity type, so multiple requests need to be made instead
of just one.

Is there a service in Google Ads API that replaces BatchJobService and
provides the same capabilities?

PolicyFindingError.POLICY_FINDING being thrown by Google Ads

2019-02-19 Thread jandlmarketinganalytics
Hello,

I am trying to utilize the Google Ads API and am running across an issue.
The ad group and keywords are populating successfully but am getting an
error when trying to create ads. There is only 1 account that is causing
these issues, and it is not a prohibited topic (it's farm equipment).

We can see an Adwords exception *PolicyFindingError.POLICY_FINDING* being
thrown by AdWords against each of these ads.

I googled around this and the documentation is saying - "*This error occurs
when the entity will have a policy summary that includes a PROHIBITED
policy topic entry.*" We haven't encountered this error before and are
wondering what is causing this to happen.

Thanks and let me know your thoughts.

RE: Accessible customers for MCC account are coming back incorrectly in Google Ads API

2019-02-19 Thread googleadsapi-forumadvisor via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

SELECT customer.id
,
customer.descriptive_name, customer_client.resource_name,
customer_client.client_customer, customer_client.level,
customer_client.hidden FROM customer_client

Hi Luis, thanks again for the reply. I understand that technically the

the MCC account I can access any of the sub-accounts, however when using
the API under the MCC account's OAuth credentials I can only access the MCC

me. The OAuth credentials used to provide access to all the available
