Re: [Ai] Soft launch of an accessible shopping experience at Big Bazaar stores across 17 cities, 29th to 31st October

2017-11-01 Thread Sunil Sangtani. via Ai
Hi vinit ,
I along with my 2 friends visited the big bazar, trinity mall, Jaipur
on 31st of October.
We booked the assistance in advance from the website.
We got the conformation message but didn’t got any call from there.
although the manager was aware about the registration.
Initially, security Gard lady was not aware about any such initiative
so she called someone to help us.
although he helps us in the best possible way but he too was not aware
about any such initiative.
We then met to the store manager, and he was very well aware about
this initiative.
He along with his co staff started assisting all of us, and we enjoyed
the in depended shopping for the first time.
This was an amazing and wonderful experience.
The manager Mr. ashish showed whole store and describe the entire
category one-by-one, he also told us that how the categories are
divided in different sections for easier shopping.
We got assistant till the exit of the big bazar mall, the big bazar
exit also had the ramps meaning that wheelchair user can also go and
shop there easily.

The only thing I suggest here that all the staffs must have the
information about this, and it would be even better if this could be
included in there mandatory training or required service parameters,
this way they will get the needful information and will be able to
better assist people.

P.S, a sincere thanks to MR. vinit and future group for touching the
untouched and taking the problem solving approach in there business
stratigies for the persons with disability

Re: [Ai] accessible help for booking OLA cab/Auto

2017-08-05 Thread Sunil Sangtani. via Ai
Hi there,
Adding to the info provided:
You can also book Uber/Ola cabs threw google maps.
In case of Ola, you must have the app installed and signed in in your phone.
Best way is to open google maps, enter the destination where you wish
to travel by typing or speaking, Dubble tap on the place that comes up
in search results to choose, and then select “direction”.
Swipe a little and tap on ride services tab. Once you do this, you
will get options to book uber and Ola.
Booking uber is pretty simple and strait forward, in case of Ola, the
google maps opens the Ola app with the pickup and drop locations
filled for you.
You need to choose the type of the cab you wish to use, E.G, micro,
prime and mini etc.
These options are present in the bottom area of the screen. Tapping on
these your screen reader won’t return any feedback but if you have
screen click sounds enable, you can be sure if you have heard it.
After selecting the type of cab, press ride now button. And.
You can see the fare details of the private or shared cab and apply
promo code before confirming your ride.
Ixigo cab is another alternative that gives you the ability to book
and compare many cabs from a single platform.
The app seems fairly accessible.

Well, if we look on the incident from the way as it is, the boy is
certainly wrong.
Even if the girl gave her consent for all the things that happened in
between them, the boy was supposed to refrain from taking this step at
the first place when there future was unsure, or if he was truly
honest with the girl, should have taken his responsibility and married
her right away.
If we see from the girl’s prospective, probably the bright future and
a dream of a happier life might allowed her conscious to go with the
boy this way.

Re: [Ai] Any information about accessibility of Jio Phone

2017-07-23 Thread Sunil Sangtani. via Ai
yes, the jio phone is using Kizon os, and its the customized version
of firefox operating system much like customized version of android.
so Probably it must be accessible.
but even though it is accessible, it would not become our primary
phone. it can help to the people who prefer keypad phones though.

Usually, the dongle version too comes with some free upgrades.
Do check with your I-T team about the agreed term and condition while
buying the license.

 Hi all,

Very delighted to be on this inclusive informative list.

Presently, I am looking in to our SBI complaints. While doing so, I
get so many mails which have attachments in the form of PDF files
which are created by customers by clicking snapshots of their
querries, which so far, Jaws is not able to read.

What I want to know is that like the software for mobile i.e. Eye-d
which helps us to recognize images, do we have any such thing for PC
as well? So that I can work without any hassel.

Pleas throw some light on this issue.

 Regards,
