HP dc5800 / Intel Core 2 Duo 2,66GHz - 2GB Ram / Windows XP Pro - OOo 3.0.0 and OOo 3.1.0 [EN] 2. Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo / AMD Sempron - 512MB Ram / Windows Vista Home Basic - OOo 3.1.0 [IT] 3. PowerBook G4 1,5 GHz / 512MB Ram / Linux Debian 5.0 (kernel 2.6.26) - Gnome 2.22.3 - OOo 2.4 [IT] with the following sequence of steps: 1-Create a new presentation with 5 slides: * first slide contains a video and a text box * second slide contains a video and a graphical object (a shape from the draw toolbar). * third slide contains a video and an external image * a fourth slide contains a video and a 3x2 table. * a fifth slide containing only graphical objects (a shape, an image, a text box and a table). 2- On each slide try to reverse the order of the objects sending backward the video. 3- Look at the thumbnail of the slide to check if the order is correctly changed 4- Start the slide show to see to check if the order is correctly changed. The issue is present on OOo 2.4.1, 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 (latest build) and is independent by the object type used. My tests exposed an interesting behavior : the thumbnails on the left pane ARE CORRECT The objects are shown in the expected position, while in normal view and during slide show are incorrect. Because the way i create it, i simply hit function, then choose BDSOMME, then when oocalc ask for ref i open the other file, and select my database, oocalc put the ref (the file:///blahblah.ods...) itself. Didn't really look at the doc to see if it's the way i should have done it, but i suppose oocalc won't (shoudn't) allow me to do something bad itself. Some kind of hey don't do that with another file! error message. To be clear : it's a major issue for me, because i use an dbase.ods file that hold datas that are use as database by 4 others .ods It's an easy way to update the datas without having to change the 4 others .ods files, once update i just have to spread the dbase.ods and all files are aware of the changes. i didn't tried it yet, but i guess that not only BDSOMME could be affect, and the main reason is shared with the bug you mention about INDIRECT. Tonight I tried clicking the little green Update icon again, and this time the Extension Update manager loaded and reported that OpenCards 1.5 was available. That's a step forward! So I told it to download that extension. It downloaded it, but when I told it to install the extension, it took a long time thinking, and then threw up an error message. I will upload a screen cut (.bmp file) of the error message, but it had to do with components of the PDF Import extension being unavailable. So I downloaded and installed the most recent version of the PDF Import extension (v. 0.4), and then tried again to install OpenCards 1.5. No good: the same error message. The following describes a boiled down, easy to reproduce (at least for me) situation. Priority P2 since Calc crashes during normal and simple operation. 1. Start OOo, klick 'Spreadsheet' to create a new spreadsheet. 2. Manually enter some values into the following cells, for example: B1: 100 A2: 10 A3: 20 A4: 30 3. Manually enter the formula '=B1-A2' into B2 4. Select B2, click on the cell's handle and drag it down to B4. This action fills B3 with '=B2-A3' and B4 with '=B3-A4' 5. Left click on row number 3 to select entire row 3. 6. Right click on row number 3 and select 'Insert Rows' from the menu. 7. Select B2, click on the cell's handle and drag it down to B5. == OOo Calc crashes! Another variant goes as follows: - Execute steps 1. to 4. from above. - Select 'Undo' either by menu 'Edit' 'Undo:Fill' or 'Cmd+Z' on the keyboard. == OOo Calc crashes! For the same OOo version OOO310m11(Build:9399) the error does not occur under Linux (sidux/Debian sid), so it's likely specific to Mac OS X. My Mac OS X version is 10.5.7, however, I saw this error also on 10.4.x This might be related to issue 102195 which crashes my OOo also. Also, it looks somewhat similar to issue 101869. A works for me close won't make this bug go away. This is what the video shows 1. Start video recording 2. Open a new text document using OOo Writer 3. Insert a table 4. Place cursor into table cell 5. On laptop keyboard hold down Fn+ALT, type 0223 on the integrated notepad. What can be seen is that the row height changes while typing the numbers, once done the special character is inserted. I also tried it with an external keypad and that generates the same effect. I downloaded OOo 3.0.1 as suggested which looks much better than 2.4.0 that I had previously but when I select Database / Tables / Use Wizard to Create Table... I get a continuously spinning rainbow wheel and have to force quit OOo.
