When Mozilla or Acrobat enables quickstarter i does two two things: 1. add program to autostart (when OS starts) list 2. enables quickstarter So, this mean, that i can delete shortcut from autotart list. And this do not disable quickstart of mozilla and acrobat. It starts when i start program first time. If i try to do the same for openoffice - quickstarted do not starts. OpenOffice diasapears from memory, if close last window. And thi do not hapen on Mozila, do not hapen on Acrobat, do not hapen on linux version of openoffice. To close Mozila/Acrobar linux ooo i have to click on quicstarter and select "close/end/or something like this". This is usefull , when you don't need program all the time, but when you need, you using very intensive. It will not help: In lithuanian you should write name and last name, in russian - lastname and name, sometimes name of father (russian tradition, like middle name of americans). In some case, for example in scientific articles, you need to add titles "dr.", "prof." and etc. My idea is: 1. Document should to have additional propertie "Author" (maybe list of authors) 2. This field must be filled from "User Data",when document is created 3. Then It should be able to change author of document without affecting Users data written in settings of OpenOffice.org This is also useful when you work on public computers, for example in university. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. OpenOffice has great feature to autodetect colum type, thank you for this very much, but when i need to set manualy 57 times column type to "TEXT", this makes me crazy... (And my coleagues are going to kill be because of additional work, because i insisted to use OpenOffice... :( ) Sorry, but his is totaly nonsense: You cannot force user to use features, which he do not need or not want to use. This is far away from "freedom"... It is logical, if user set that text field begins with " sign, this means, that user wants to have fields, which begin with " sign, as text fields.
