[arr] (ARR) Female Version of AAromale BGM....!!!

Who is the female singer of Aromale?

Re: [arr] Re: Female version of Aaromale

I cant get over that BGM too, Raag Bageshri was aptly set in that scene in
the night denoting the mood of the raga. As soon as it kicks off, it was
totally a mesmerizing scene and romantic as ever. The whole version
was uplifting and a soul-stirring experience.

this wont be the ideal question but this is the question these days i really

sweetest, strange complicated raag based tunes ? Will i never be able to
listen them again ? Why interludes have gone  so simple and tunes so
ordinary?  i miss them dearly in the songs now."

This may sound dumb but I really wouldn't want to ask any questions to ARR. As
it is, there are just way too many questions thrown by the media to him at the
moment.
Given a choice, I would really be happy watching ARR chilled out and talking
about his life, his music and his experience in the film world at his own free
will, rather than giving brisk answers to questions.
An interview need not be looked upon in its literal sense. It certainly need
not be a Q & A session. A lovely chat/talk/discussio n (or whatever you may
name it) would have been wonderful for a change. It leaves a nice impression on
the interviewer…plus, the interviewee has the opportunity to voice out what he
feels instead of confining himself to the questions asked. And we, as the
viewers get the opportunity to see a lighter sight of the interviewee himself.

Exactly what I thought. It is a stupendous task to follow through in quick
time. Lots of travel. Lots of weather. Lots of vocal strain. Lots of physical
strain and emotions too. May god give him and the rest of the crew enough
strength to nail this monstrous tour ahead.

Does this confirms that ARR will be part of this project? Gopal or Vijay may
clarify this.

Details of Gautham- Ajith film

By Moviebuzz  | Friday, 05 March , 2010, 11:00

It’s confirmed that Gautham Menon and Ajith are coming together in Dhyanidhi
Alagiri’s new untitled film.
Gautham in an interview said: “I have to complete the low budget thriller with
Sameera Reddy and newcomer Veera, which will take a month. Then I will start
work on my film with Ajith towards the end of May”.
Gautham denied his Ajith film has been titled Thuppariyum Anand. Says Gautham:
“Yes I have written a script called Thuppariyum Anand, about a detective in
1920’s Madras and given it to Mr. Kamal Hassan and Mr. Aamir Khan. I’m hoping
that one of them will do the film.”
Added Gautham: “Once and for all I would like to say that the Ajith film is
untitled and it is a mass entertainer. All technicians who worked with me in
VTV will be a part of this new film, while I’m on the lookout for a heroine.”
Meanwhile Ajith has signed up for one season of F2 racing. The star is quoted
saying: “ Since Gautham wanted some more time to complete the story and
scripting, I decided to indulge in my passion, as I want my 50th film to be a
win-win situation for all involved in the film.”

"STRICTLY FOR THE DIE HARD ROMANTICS". Sorry guys personally i agree to this
review. Not totally. This is the very same thing that i felt just after seeing
the movie. I know that iam totaly away from the views of you guys about VTV
movie. But still i didnt digest that movie. I watched vtv with lot more
expectations. But i was really disappointed after watching the movie. Songs
visualisations are superb... I was surprised seeing such good reviews about VTV
on internet and on our group. Guys many of my friends have these same opinions
about this movie. And good opinions too.

VTV - HOPELESSLY ROMANTIC

Home > Visitor Column

By Behindwoods Visitor K.ANANTH

The views expressed in this column are that of the visitor. Behindwoods. com
doesn't hold responsible for its content.

After proving his mettle with some unforgettable cop flicks and psycho
thrillers Gautham Vasudev Menon seemed all set to make you fall in love, with
love. In the end however you have to say that he has managed to do quite the
opposite.

Karthik (Silambarasan) an aspiring film director, falls head over heals in love
with Jessie(Trisha) at first sight. The problem? He is a Hindu, she is a
conservative Malayali Christian, she has a job and is settled while he is still
at the crossroads of life, trying to find a footing in cinema, having given up
his studies already and to top it all she is a year older than him.

Despite having a great recipe for a classic romantic flick Gautham gets it all
wrong. For starters this movie is a big time overdose of romance with very few
enjoyable moments that you would like to relive over and over again. The
initial sequences between the lead pair seem so artificial and contrary to the
voiceovers Karthik gives at many points during the film. There is no real
chemistry between them, at least for most part. It may be safe to blame the
writing for this which summed up in one word is, unimaginative.

To top that there is nothing innovative about the script and the meandering
screenplay just makes things worse. After a point in time the movie becomes so
much of an ordeal and a test of patience that you manage to easily look through

some genuinely good moments towards the end.

However to Gautham's credit no one would have foreseen the twist in the climax.
Yes it was practical and had that element of surprise but does he expect the
viewer, subjected to almost 3 hours of romance, romance and more listless
romance to walk out of the theatre having been swept off their feet?

Performances wise Trisha single handedly lifts the film up. Sexy and classy she
easily manages to overshadow Silambarasan. Cinematography is one big reason why
this movie passes muster. Very surprisingly there is very little to write home
about AR RAHMAN's background score but he sort of makes up for it in the songs.

If only this movie had more than just love in it (Some healthy humor for
example), if only it had packed in some more interesting events to get rid of
the dryness, if only it had not been so long, if only...if only..There are just
too many of them.

VERDICT: - STRICTLY FOR THE DIE HARD ROMANTICS.

Stars - 2/5.

Perhaps he wants Vadivelu to appear for no reason and get bashed up by people
and some Vijaykanth style fights maybe. Couldn't accept life as it is I guess.
And I totally disagree with the comment on AR. BGM was awesome!!!

It would be nice if you could clarify when and where the concert in Paris
will be taking place: the news item on the official website says* Paris
Bercy, 10 July*, while this official press release you attached
mentions*Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, 13 July
*.

Thanks!

cop flicks and psycho thrillers Gautham
Vasudev Menon seemed all set to make
you
fall in love, with love. In the end
however
you have to say that he has managed to
do quite the opposite.

Karthik (Silambarasan) an aspiring film
director, falls head over heals in love
with Jessie(Trisha) at first sight. The
problem? He is a Hindu, she is a
conservative
Malayali Christian, she has a job and
is settled while he is still at the
crossroads
of life, trying to find a footing in
cinema,
having given up his studies already and
to top it all she is a year older than
him.

Despite having a great recipe for a
classic
romantic flick Gautham gets it all
wrong.
For starters this movie is a big time
overdose of romance with very few
enjoyable
moments that you would like to relive
over and over again. The initial
sequences
between the lead pair seem so
artificial
and contrary to the voiceovers Karthik
gives at many points during the film.
There is no real chemistry between
them,
at least for most part. It may be safe
to blame the writing for this which
summed
up in one word is, unimaginative.

To
top that there is nothing innovative
about
the script and the meandering
screenplay
just makes things worse. After a point
in time the movie becomes so much of an
ordeal and a test of patience
that you manage to easily look

Well, both are 'requests' not 'questions' (as the topic goes)

Regarding your second request, I am sure it is coming sooner or later :)

[arr] Ekam Satyam in AR Rahman Jai Ho Concert @ Houston, USA

MUMBAI: After a series of concerts in India, and most recently in Australia, A
R Rahman will now be heading to North America as a part of his A.R. Rahman Jai
Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour.

The North American leg of the tour is slated to begin on June 11 at the Nassau
Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., with dates booked through July 3
performance at the Toyota Center in Houston.

For this massive international tour, Rahman is leaving no stone unturned. It is
reported that Rahman is collaborating with creative director Amy Tinkham and
make it both visually and aurally appealing to his international fans.

A well known director/choreographer, Amy Tinkhan is part of McDonald Selznick
Associates (MSA) who represent some of the finest stage directors and
production designers in the business. MSA has so far executed some of the top
grossing tours of all time, including Madonna's 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour (the
highest grossing tour by a female artist in history), Celine Dion's Taking
Chances Tour, Cher's Living Proof Farewell Tour, Michael Jackson's HIStory
Tour, Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/Love Show, and Paul McCartney's Driving
Tour.

According to reports, Rahman's concert in North America will be a theatrical
experience with dance and acrobatics. However, at its core its going to be
Indian. The show will feature changing sets, large images on LED screens and a
spectacular cast of musicians and dancers from across the globe.

The surprises don't end here. The Journey Home World Tour, will also feature
tracks that Rahman was working on with the late Michael Jackson before his
tragic death. In addition to songs from Slumdog Millionaire, fans will also be
treated to his bollywood hits from Lagaan, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Dil Se, Rang
DeBasanti and Roja.

The concert series will be produced by Deepak Gattani, and will travel to over
twenty international arenas including The Forum in Los Angeles, The Patriot
Center in Washington, D.C., American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas and
Wembley Arena and the O2 Arena in London.

Concert will also feature tracks that Rahman was working on with the late
Michael Jackson before his tragic death - OH MY GOD!!! We will finally hear
Ekam Satyam WOOHHOOO.

[arr] Re: Your ideal interview question

2010-03-05 Thread Gayathri
This may sound dumb but I really wouldn't want to ask any questions to ARR. As
it is, there are just way too many questions thrown by the media to him at the
moment.
Given a choice, I would really be happy watching ARR chilled out and talking
about his life, his music and his experience in the film world at his own free
will, rather than giving brisk answers to questions.
An interview need not be looked upon in its literal sense. It certainly need
not be a Q & A session. A lovely chat/talk/discussion (or whatever you may name
it) would have been wonderful for a change. It leaves a nice impression on the
interviewer…plus, the interviewee has the opportunity to voice out what he
feels instead of confining himself to the questions asked. And we, as the
viewers get the opportunity to see a lighter sight of the interviewee himself.
