Re: [arr] DIL SE...something new!
Hi Gomtesh, I meant that when rendering the Hindi vocals, the voice is a bit dizzy, whereas in the Tamil verison, every word seems to be sharp. I now feel the PITCH difference is due to the lyrics itself. When rendering the Hindi poetry in that manner, and due to Boss not being comfortable with the language (Its possible, coz the film was made long back), he had used a subdued voice and sung normally for the Tamil version... I still dont know. Somebody who has both (or either of the) originals may be able to confirm whether there is really a difference or not?! Thanks for reading. HI, The wooden stick is present in the hindi version--previously (long back) with woofer-twiter system I didn't find that, but with walkman or dvd 5.1 the sound is distinct Arijit On 27/11/05, up84mouli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear Fanz > > Recently, someone wrote about how new things are discovered every time > you listen to the master's masterpieces." > > Just recently, I was putting both the Dil Se tracks (Hindi and Tamil) > one after the other in my playist and found something interesting. > > 1. [arr] DIL SE...something new!
Dear Fanz Recently, someone wrote about how new things are discovered every time you listen to the master's masterpieces." Just recently, I was putting both the Dil Se tracks (Hindi and Tamil) one after the other in my playist and found something interesting. 1. The Tamil rendition by the master is somewhat sharp when compared to the Hindi track. I dont know if this has to do with MP3 conversion. 2. The interlude (one of the BEST & unparalleled in the entire TFM till date) is a bit different in the Tamil version. It comes out sharp and has some other "wooden stick" instrument mixed with the Guitar (Or is it the Mandeline??). The sharpness makes me doubt more on the MP3 conversion...Please confirm. 3. This is not a difference. The ending effects deserve special mention. Just like a buzzing bee shuttling through the left and right ears.
