Yes, but showing more preference to Hindi films is not wrong. I think ARR judges films according to the merits of script/film-maker rather than just language. It is evident, that he got to work with some of the good film-makers on the scene today. I am sure he would give significance to tamil films too, provided more tamil film-makers approach him with interesting stories and not run-of-the-mill ones. what is the point in composing music for just some film which doesnt excite/challenge him. Not all film-makers are good enough. And not all good film-makers approach ARR. So, there are several factors which act like filters you see. Lets keep our eyes and ears open to music...and music does not have language. ARR has enthiran, mani's next movie, chennayil oru mazhaikalam, marmayogi, puli (telugu) under his belt right now. this is more than enough. this is more than enough. if projects take off and drop in the middle, ARR should not be blamed for this. offlate, good MDs in tamil are hard to find.
