** There is a list of reserved words which should not be used in templates with a colon. The list is not exhaustive. From top of my head, you may find the list in documentation of ARSystem version 5.x We had to face the issue with our Remedy server 6.01 some years ago. I have a script in place which moves all the colons in something else. Of course you may tune the checks to only match the words from the list. Could it be that you have colons in your details field? I know that if our email engine sees a colon where it shouldn't be, it thinks it's a field and then errors out. Change your colons to hyphens and see if that works... Thanks! Nope. We’re on 7.5. FWIW, I use Procmail and some scripts to generate these templates to create tickets that get appropriately routed to specific support groups from automated email. I find the word wrap function works fine for my templates. Couple of things you can try. First put a space between the special characters as you had in the example [$$ text $$] Second look the incoming mailbox settings. On the Advanced Configuration tab check Use Original Template Format. See page 65 of the 6.3 EEG for details.
