Apologies if you already know this...but ...if you are using ITSM the HD Agents can manually send emails from the Incident itself. This way the email comes from the system. Naturally you have to address how to deal with if the user replies. We are using MS Active Directory and we use LDAP to authenticate. I have created an email interface, however, the users what to be able to pick users and or distribution groups from the Exchange list. What do you want to do exactly? Many corporations that use Exchange are also using MS Active Directory. If you set up the ARDBC/AREA plugins you can authenticate and pull information back from there.
