Entombed help? Hi guys, I replayed entombed anD I tinked to try new things. So, I was going in the goblin stronghold, some new thing, I killed the king with success, but with mooore more tryes, and go now on ossuary. How to defeat that army?chars:AliceFemale humanfighter assassintorn, male HalflingRanger assassin (This combination it's a bad one...)Michael male human barbarian fortune teller.So any success? I highered my best skills at te higher I can be now, like 3 or 4. Now I have Alice, the human fighter assassin, fang, the wolf, Storm Silverprotector, reincarnated as a half elf, originally was a dwarf brawler paladin, and Lary, the Halfling druid bard. I found Alissa-Lyc, and killed the tree guards (I mean, Crystals)I injured her and she transformed her self in Lyc. I have a question what means Lyc, isn't she Alissa? I don't understood the story so a explicite saying will help. 2. Who can give me a clue, how to defeat her?Sorry for my English, I'm practicing. I hope I wrote all right and enjoy the game! Re: Entombed help SPOILER ALERTWell, I have only defeated the Liche once as I purchased the full version recently. Once the crystals have been defeated, (make sure to kill the blue first) you should attack the Liche but save any ability points for high damage attacks for when the Liche is close to transforming. My group set up was a monk/assassin, mage/necromancer and a bard/necromancer. I found using abilities like shrink and sneak attack together worked really well especially when I got critical hit and assassinations. I also would recommend using Slow if you have a scroll or as a spell with your class. However, this is only my experience and there are players who can give you much better advice. Oh, just remembered, if you accept the quest for the 25th floor you will have to fight 2 giants as well in the Liche battle, so you might want to avoid this.SPOILER ENDDoes anyone know what job would go well with a Fortune Teller because I want to try this class? Re: Entombed help? This is quite a bad mix of characters for fighting the undead. Fortunetellers and barbarians do not go well as the same character.I have to disagree about ranger assassins though. It takes a round to set them up but they're one of my favourite classes. Max multi-shot and sneak attack and the damage on a quest group is absolutely insane.The best way to defeat undead is to take out the arms of the skeletons. They can't fight you then. You should also kill the necromancer so he can't bring anyone back to life.First turn, have your 2 assassin characters hide so they can sneak attack. Your barbarian should probably start hitting the arms of the skeletons. After that, see what the sneak attack can do. Generally mixing any combination of ability and magic jobs is a bad idea, and while rangers are awesome in terms of attacks especially when equipped with the assassin's crytical hit (which is pretty much a killer for any physical attacker), the problem with rangers is they need to use ranged weapons, and most amo for ranged weapons is just too soft to do much damage to the hard skins of nastier creatures further down the dungeon. When I've tried ranger assassin, I've always found they rocked up to about floor 11, then suddenly became next to useless. if your really stuck with undead, there is also a little cheat which is good fun. go to your inventory, and select a healing potion. In the character menu of whom to give it to, hit tab to select your enemies and try feeding it to an undead skeleton, you might get a surprise . entombed help please. Hi guys. I have a problem. I am stuck on the sixth floor of entombed, at the point where you come to the staircase that should go to the seventh floor. By the way, I have a human fighter healer, my wolf and a half elf paladin bard. However i can't mannage to defeat the granit guardian. It would be great if someboddy could help me with this thing. Re: entombed help please. Hi!Its a while since I played through entombed for the last time. Are the stone guards really on level 6? I thought they come later and you have to battle the dragon on this level.However, I remember that the guards are quite a chellenge, What skills have you trained? I personally prefer characters with more power, healers are quite useless. If you lose an arm during a battle its better to load from auto-save and try again. The only hint I can give you without further information is to try the battle several times.Kind regards! Re: entombed help please. Hello Bitti.The stone guardian is not easy but you can defeat it. Put the guardian to sleep with your bard then use your fighter's combo technique I can't remember what that's called. Also you could put the guardian to sleep or charm it then use your fighter healer to heal yourself or your pet a few times this should give you a better chance. You could also use your bard's fighting song to give your group extra strength. Also you can charm the guardian with your paladin bard then protect your fighter healer from the guardian. There are many things you can do try different combinations of attacks and defense to defend yourself. Something I used to do is go right outside the door to the guardian then save the game so that when you load the game your right outside the door and you can load the game and fight the guardian as many times as you want. Rest outside the door so that when you go in to fight the guardian your whole group is in perfect health.H th. entombed help getting back to the town? hi all,I've got passed lvl 3 but I can't remember how/when you get that ball thing so you can teleport yourself back to the town so you can visit the shops there. can anybody shed some light on this? Re: entombed help getting back to the town? Just hit F1 to activate the teleportation orb, then hit F1 again when you want to return to your place in the dungeon. Bare in mind though the orb takes time to recharge. Usually i wait until I've explored the hole floor and found the staircase down, then hit F1 to go back to town, sell gear and get quests and what not, then return and descend further. Hth.
