Hi, Margaret and JR -- This may be a real long shot, but I have a Maria born in Agua da Pau in 1867 whose maternal grandfather is Antonio da Costa Ferraz. Perhaps Antonio is connected to your family? Hi Patricia, I am connected to Antonio da Costa Ferraz through my Medeiros line. I show him married to Candida Maria de Jesus Correia de Medeiros on Oct 29 1827. He's the son of Manuel da Costa Ferraz married to Jacinta Flora de Sousa. Both are natives of Agua de Pau but it is possible they will connect at some point...I'll be sure to check both Parishes.
