[Blind-Computing] adobe flash player 10.1
for windows xp the adobe flash player is found in the control pannel. I use version 5.5.8.2, but think it may be similar. If you had older version before, there is a new way to set up this things. Press ctrl+p in winamps main window for preferences. Press f till you hear filetypes. If it's closed, open it with right arrow and go down to shell options. Press tab and adjust the options there. Without sighted help, your only other option to solve the captcha would be to use Firefox with the Webvisum add-on. Webvisum uses a proprietary process to solve image captchas . When you encounter a page that contains such a captcha like the one on the Yahoo page you are having trouble with, you simply press Alt-Control-numrow 6, and the captcha is submitted to Webvisum, which decodes it and returns the result in the clipboard, ready to paste into the appropriate edit field. But it only works with Firefox and not IE, so if you don't already have Firefox, you would need to download and install it first before you can install Webvisum. Hi, I recently opened a Yahoo mail a/c and there was an audible link on the registration screen which at the first couple of attempts didn't work but after flicking between the Jaws and PC cursor it eventually worked.. So find it strange that there isn't an audible link for that security number on the registration screen..
