Romel, Thanks for your suggestion. We are considering these two already. John, good to know that you have had issues with them. These are the kind of issue that we don't want to experience. We are definitely considering using AWS. I didn't know their service until this week. And I'm amazed Our plan is to direct 90% of our traffic to some company like softlayer and 10% for AWS. This because we don't have a System Admin yet.. So I would be the guy responsible for managing the AWS.. I'm not an expert in server management, and that's the reason we will direct only 10% of the traffic for AWS.. In the furture we want to have 100% on AWS.. Thank you for your suggestion guys. I just saw the name rackspace and just had to chime in. I've been a loyal customer, I and the companies i've worked for have dumped hundreds of thousands ( Maybe millions ) on rackspace service, and now more exclusively the cloud. for the past 3 days there have been major latency and network issues ( Not the first time ), and they only admit it after getting to the highest level of support Over time their product has morphed into more and more crap, and service is degrading big time. I would DEF start with AWS, as that will also be the next place i move or start a new app on ( my move might be provoked from a 40% latency over their cloud for over 3 days ) I have many dev/biz friends that have thrived on AWS. I use http://tdrnetworks.com - a small and friendly UK based company that have great products, terrific service and good prices. I switched to them a couple of years back because I was so fed up with 1&1 and all the big faceless companies that offer zero service. Go on - support the little guy!
