I think I was using Firefox 3.6, but now, I just did a Ubuntu dist
upgrade and now it comes with Firefox 4, and I cannot use Firebug in it! ..
And still I'm seeing the Tryit the same way. I rebulit the wsdl2form

Would you pls let me know the browser version that you are facing the
issue? Then I can have a look and fix this styling issue. BTW, it was
 personally tested in IE 6, 7, 8 , Firefox 3.6.16 and Chrome 10.0.648.205,

Btw, is this a local build on your machine or a build from builder
machine? If it is a local one, please update component/wsdl2form with
externals. I tested in latest builds from the builder machine and didn't
notice any issue. Would you please have a look by enabling firebug console,
probably you might see a missing js file in the console.

Anyway, if you have missed something, you need to update and build following
components.

core/org.wso2.carbon.ui
components/wsdl2form
components/tryit

Sorry for the late reply. I was having some problems with my Laptop.

I think the notifications displayed must be light colored than they are
right now. If it's possible, the two notifications must be in same color.
 So
the background color I suggest for both of them is "79aec9".

It will be good if the operations "greet" in the given screen can be
given in a color other than red unless there is an error in the operation.

Hi Ruchira,

When a service is secured using username/password, the tryit shows the edit
box to get username and password. But the passwords are shown in clear text.
Can you fix it?

BTW, I have used red(for the operations) in order to show the selected

 Hi Anjana,

The new tryit UI should be similar to the attachment below. Also there
is a "priority operations" sections at your left, which allows you to
promote selected operations into that area when there are a long list of
operations. So, you should be able to easily try operations, without

Re: [Carbon-dev] Tryit Broken?

2011-04-29 Thread Ruchira Wageesha
Hi Anjana,

Would you pls let me know the browser version that you are facing the issue?
Then I can have a look and fix this styling issue. BTW, it was personally
tested in IE 6, 7, 8 , Firefox 3.6.16 and Chrome 10.0.648.205, seemed
working fine.

Btw, is this a local build on your machine or a build from builder machine?
If it is a local one, please update component/wsdl2form with externals. I
tested in latest builds from the builder machine and didn't notice any
issue. Would you please have a look by enabling firebug console, probably
you might see a missing js file in the console.

Ruchira

The old UI is difficult to use for complex type input parameters. Besides,
most WS developers extensively use SOAP UI, this new UI pretty much provides
the same experience. Try It is a developer tool & I think most developers

Hi Anjana,

I think this should be a styling issue which we can easily fix. And this new
try-it is way better than old one and has very good XSD to XML capabilities.
We need to keep this and fix the issues we find to make it better.
