Re: [CinCV] Transferring cinelerra.org
Hi, I can take over the domain and pay for it. I use Cinelerra a lot, this could be my contribution to the project. For your background check: I hold and manage already the domains for my project meetthegimp.org and for the Gimp Magazine gimpmagazine.org Other than doing the domain and nameserver stuff I can't help much, perhaps offering webspace for the homepage if the downloads are hosted elsewhere. I keep Wordpress, a DokuWiki and a SMF-Forum running and up to date. And I take care of the domains and the nameserver entries. I closed the forum and the wiki to self service registration - it was too much SPAM. It's now e-mail and ask. Works well, but keeps perhaps some people away. So it would include all the above stuff and perhaps more if it is easy enough to learn. Rolf ___ Cinelerra mailing list Cinelerra@skolelinux.no https://lists.skolelinux.org/listinfo/cinelerra

When we started the Server years ago I stated that I don't want to be involved with the cinelerra.org webserver maintenance (it's a vserver instance on that server). Currently there is no lead or admin for the webserver. Since some time I am planning to write some Angry Mail about the current situation of the cinelerra.org server to the mailinglist, in recent years hermanr covered the expenses (about 11Eur per month meanwhile), but the server is now in debt for some time. It would be nice if some people will jump in here and donate some money to keep the server running.
