Re: Linux [7:74168]

2003-08-19 Thread Manuel Rojas
Take whatever it is that you are trying to do and google it. Add the
words 'linux' and 'HOWTO'.

for example, "linux sendmail HOWTO"

I've yet to find a site that is a complete source of HOWTO's, not to
mention that some HOWTO's can be written more confusing than others.

If you're running redhat then try going to www.redhat.com/apps/support
and select your OS from their support guides section. These can be
pretty basic HOWTO's but it will give you an idea of whatever it is you
are trying to do.

Just out of curiousity, what are you trying to do??

Re: problem after upgrading 3620 IOS [7:74160]

2003-08-19 Thread Manuel Rojas
What feature set are you trying to install? For example, the 12.2(1) IP
PLUS feature set requires 48MB DRAM and 16MB Flash whereas the IP only
feature set requires only 32MB DRAM and 8MB Flash. If you are trying to
intall all feature sets then you will need at least 64MB DRAM and 16MB
Flash.

With the memory you have, you should install either IP or IP/FW/IDS
feature sets.

Re: Cisco BGP Exam [7:73516]

2003-08-07 Thread Manuel Rojas
Avi Freedmans BGP presentations are a good source to read but I'd try to
read Routing TCP/IP vol II first and then read the presentations to help
strenghten your understanding of BGP.

I don't believe Freedmans presentations are as detailed as the exam
would like, but if I am wrong then please let me know and send a url
where we can all go and review them.
