RE: ´ð¸´: 2509 Terminal Server
Hi Hou, I am a Ms, not a Sir. When I use the config from Caslow's book I can do a reverse telnet by simply entering r1 thru r8 the 1st time. Then you do a "ctrl, shift, ^, then x" to return to the termserver. After that you only have to enter the session # (i.e. 1 for r1, 2 for r2, etc..). However, I did erase my config from the terminal server (2509) and loaded the config that you indicated in your note. However when I tried the following, I got the following error. termserver#telnet 127.0.0.1 2001 % Invalid IP address Maybe there is a step missing. An example: I ran across a question that asks you to select the best answer about a protocol but don't tell you what protocol they are asking about. All I did, at that point, was try to remember what protocols were focused upon in the reading material and guess at the answer. I will say that I used Robert's book to study for this exam, and I enjoyed his inserts about "real world networking". This exam displays how old it is in the questions it asks about technologies, and Robert's book lets you know that even though you must know this subject for the exam it isn't too prominent in the real world. As for taking the test again... RE: List Price
You are right that is what I get also. Maybe you can check with your Cisco rep. I got that url from mine. I don't know why it doesn't work. Sorry, next time I will try it before I post it. -Original Message- From: Rik Guyler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, May 19, 2000 9:44 AM To: Westmoreland, Alexis Subject: RE: List Price I have a CCO account (Smartnet), but not a reseller account. I don't know if that's the problem, but I only get a blank page when I hit that URL. Any suggestions? I'm trying to price a lab for my company and I need to see if I'm in the ballpark of my budget. RE: List Price
I am not a sir. I am a ms. Also, it is best to respond to the group (select reply all). If you have Cisco equipment that has a maintenance (SmartNet) contract, you use that SmartNet # to open a cco account (at www.cisco.com). Or you can sign up as a consultant. The following is an exert from the Cisco consultant newsletter. Cisco News for Consultants is a monthly electronic newsletter for registered members of Cisco's Consultant Program. We encourage you to read this publication for up-to-date news from Cisco. Other consultants in your organization are eligible to receive Cisco News for Consultants. They can subscribe by completing a Consultant Program membership application at http//www.cisco.com/go/consult. -Original Message- From: Muhammad Asif Rashid [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2000 7:49 PM To: Westmoreland, Alexis Subject: Re: List Price Sir >From where i can get this cco no. RE: Links to free books?
You can usually log on as a guest to get the books. If you want a cco login you need to have a Cisco smartnet contract # or sign up as a Cisco consultant. -Original Message- From: Dost [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 11, 2000 3:19 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Links to free books? d u have to be CCO ?
