Help. CCNA exam; How is actually? [7:34029]

2002-02-01 Thread chino Rui

This is my first post on this board; it seems great!

I'm going to take 640-507 (CCNA-Ver 2)
I'm studying with CCNA Training Kit Ver 1.3.2.0 and with another older
version. The question is :

Is this kind of test similar to the real one?
If not...
Where can I find a test that most closely follows the real exam?

Thank for your attention.

Re: help CCNA

2000-05-31 Thread Priscilla Oppenheimer

I just bought the Cisco Press ICND book and I see quite a few new topics that
were not on CCNA 1.0:

Mapping business needs to the hierarchical model
Selecting Cisco products
Cabling the LAN
Cabling the WAN
What happens when you start a switch
Commands to get basic switch information
Configuring a switch from the command line
Catalyst 1900 operations
Configuring the Catalyst 1900
Extending switched networks with VLANs
ISDN BRI overview and components
Dial-on-Demand routing
Configuring DDR

Seems pretty different to me! I'm bummed by this because I offer an
"Introduction to TCP/IP Internetworking and Basic Cisco Router Configuration"
class that used to be just right for CCNA. Oh well.

I dunno..are they the same, like in study material, and whats gion to be
in the examcause i wanna do 407 before the turnover into 507 cause
i've been studying todds book for a awhile now.
