Re: Rocky vs CPAN Testers
Hi Dave, Quite possibly the latter :) Though it did say it was being held for moderation. I've decided to write a more generic blog post clarifying a few things he mentions, but also expand on some of the plans for the Admin site and the ideas Garu and Miagawa had about implement some of the features on the Reports site. I'm on holiday next week, so plenty of time to get it right (and proof read). Expect a response when I'm back on the internet, as I'll be in a corner of Cornwall that doesn't have it! Cheers, Barbie. Interesting, my reply to him appeared on the site immediately, and I didn't know it was even possible for someone to turn on moderation on blogs.perl.org. Rocky vs CPAN Testers
Hi, My thanks to those who have replied to Rocky. I have written a rather lengthy reply (twice) now, but it has been blocked for mediation approval, which it seems Rocky has elected to not do. I did consider posting elsewhere on blogs.perl, but decided it wasn't worth the effort. If Rocky isn't willing to engage in a discussion about his misunderstandings, then I don't see much point in promoting his post further. Of course I may change my mind if he continues. And very well said Mr Cantrell :) For everyone else out there, thanks to Garu and Miyagawa, who have been asking much more politely, the Admin site is getting closer to release. Some of it may well be integrated into the Reports site too. Cheers, Barbie.
