Links to d-i.alioth.debian.org dead CVS access

2004-03-09 Thread Frans Pop
I get server not responding.

This means dead links from http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/:
- no manual (http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/)
- no CVS repository tarball (http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/cvsrepo.tar.gz)
- no ???
Is this a known problem? Are there alternatives available?

Also, I've offered to do dutch translation of Installation manual (discussed
on debian-doc and -l10n-dutch).
Could I get CVS access to d-i on my alioth account fjpop-guest as Translator?

TIA,

Frans Pop

R/O CVS Access

2003-12-15 Thread adam

Hello,

I'd like to start playing with the d-i, but pserver access to CVS is apperently
turned off. Is there a way I could get a read only SSH account for CVS?

I'm not on the mailing list, so please cc [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'll check the
archives, though.

Thanks

Seems that pserver access is disabled. I can't get files either from

Second beta of debian-installer is coming up and I'd like to translate

I don't have ssh access cause I am not DD.

Joey Hess told in

that pserver has been shut down, no idea when it is back.
For debian-boot stuff, you can get PO files from
  http://people.debian.org/~barbier/d-i/l10n/
and submit bugreports to have them committed.
These pages are updated from time to time because cronjobs on gluck are
also disabled.

Ok, this does seem like a good idea, I would not want to break

Yes, but I only did very slight modifications and changed the encoding
to UTF-8. The original translations were very good in the first

I hope this is not a problem.

The official images are build using debian-cd.

But [here I go again :] there is a second branch mrvn that will
build cd images directly. Its not allways completly in sync with the

cvs access

2001-11-25 Thread Vasko Miroslav

Hi,

I tried to get woody branch of boot-floppies
to update slovak translation

I tried it README-CVS' way:
# If you are using anonymous (readonly) access:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/debian-boot
cvs login

and when a did hit the Enter on password, I got:

[mirec@zemiak bf]$ export
CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/debian-boot
[mirec@zemiak bf]$ cvs login
(Logging in to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
CVS password:
Unknown host cvs.debian.org.

(using RH 7)
I don't know, if it's some firewall problem
is there anywhere nightly-build of woody boot-floppies to start the
translating on it?

please, Cc to [EMAIL PROTECTED], i'm not on this list

thanks,
miro
