Why are they gs: when its for gcs?

Because branding changes all the time. \-:

The corresponding tool is also called "gsutil" (although most stuff
seems to migrate into "gcloud" instead).

Kind regards

Which two-letter convention?

apt-transport-https
apt-transport-spacewalk
apt-transport-s3
apt-transport-tor

bye, Joerg
Marge, it takes two to lie. One to lie and one to listen.

Honestly I'm not sure about it (I mean package name not the change). I don't
really mind to change it to gcs.
I called package *-gs to keep it in the 2 letter convention and to emphasise
that links later are starting with gs://, but if people think it
should be gcs instead I'll change it.

When I read "apt-transport-gs" package name, I wondered what ghostscript
(/usr/bin/gs) got to do with apt...

IMHO, "-gcs" suffix is better.

Hope this helps
