E-mail search in KMail

2015-10-02 Thread Frank Mehnert
Hi,

I'm using latest Sid. Which service is responsible for indexing my emails?
My emails are located in local folders. I have Akonadi running as well as
Baloo. I've restricted Baloo file indexing to $HOME/Mail but I can search
only in emails which are older than a few days, in other words, recent
emails are not part of the index anymore.

So what do I have to do to get indexing my local emails working?

I run baloo-kf5, do I need to run baloo4 to index kmail (which is still
from KDE4)?

Thanks,

Frank

Re: E-mail search in KMail

2015-10-02 Thread Coque Couto
Hello.

I see that link was last updated on January, so perhaps it doesn't reflect
current packages. baloo-kf5 replaces baloo4, so I suppose email indexing
should work with it (but it doesn't in my case either).

Perhaps we should file a bug agaisnt baloo-kf5.

Regards.

Thanks.

Bug#800666: Please change dependency on "consolekit | systemd"

2015-10-02 Thread Michael Biebl
Package: libpolkit-qt5-1-1
Version: 0.112.0-4
Severity: important

Hi,

currently libpolkit-qt5-1-1 has a
Depends: consolekit | systemd

Consolekit is basically dead and not really used anymore in Debian, it
has been replaced by logind.
E.g. policykit-1 has been switched from consolekit to logind since
Jessie.

For a fully functional logind session, you want to have libpam-systemd
installed.

My recommendation therefor is to either drop the dependency completely
and simply let the policykit-1 package pull in the necessary
dependencies or change the dependency to "libpam-systemd | consolekit",
assuming that the consolekit backend is actually usable (and tested).

Regards,
Michael

Never mind, someone just re-added the missing dependency to

Please package the ibase driver. It's in Debian's Qt4 packaging, so this is a
regression.

Further, there's code in debian/rules to build it (if libqt5sql5-sqlite was in
debian/control),
and the source package actually depends on firebird-dev anyway.

Hi everyone,

I just compiled Sigil (epub editor, http://code.google.com/p/sigil/)
using cmake etc, and the final binary does not run due to a
symbol lookup error:

It seems that libqt5gui5 needs an update with respect to linking or
libxkbcommon-dev needs a fix for symbols file.

Thanks a lot

Bug#800705: sddm: Fails to start greeter due to OpenGL

2015-10-02 Thread Philipp Matthias Hahn
Package: sddm
Version: 0.12.0-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

on reboot I get a black screen.
After much searching I found the following error message:

format QSurfaceFormat(version 2.0, options QFlags(), depthBufferSize 24,
redBufferSize -1, greenBufferSize -1, blueBufferSize -1, alphaBufferSize -1,

I think the problems started after an upgrade of the NVidia drivert to 340.93-X.

If the greeter fails to start, to proper error handling is apprecated.

Package: qt5-default
Version: 5.3.2+dfsg-4+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Please consider moving qt5-default to the libdevel section since:
- this package provides development facilities
- qt4-default is already in the libdevel section
- it makes deborphan list the package in its standard configuration (without '
--libdevel' option)

Regards

Indeed qt5-default controls run time preferences, and it's not purely related
to developing stuff, as it controls run time selections too.

I did change the section in qt4-default, will be included in the next upload.

I would still suggest to avoid using this package except you know exactly why
are you doing it and it's consequences.

2015-10-02 Thread Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer
Version: 5.4.2+dfsg-9

Hi Helge! We do update symbols files with every upload. The most normal
problem with ports is that they sometimes take more time to build and thus we
miss symbols changes for them (we have a semi-automated process for this).

Feel free to file new bugs for this if you want, but in real life we will get
them fixed whenever the next upload happens.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
I had installed qtquick1-5-dev, thinking this ought to be the correct package
to use qtquick in a qtcreator project.
However, trying to build the qtcreator qtquick template left me with the
following error:

$ /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/qmake qtquick-videotest.pro
Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: qml quick

Additionally installing qtdeclarative5-dev fixed compilation for me (but it is
not immediately obvious that qtdeclarative is necessary to enable the qt
modules qml and quick).

Would it be possible to add a dependency on qtdeclarative5-dev to qtquick1-5-
dev?

This really happens because qtcreator is using the QtQucik2 aka "declarative"
stuff. The QtQuick1 stuff is being kept only for old not-yet-ported stuff.

I'm so closing this bug. Please feel free to reopen if I missed something.

now I found https://wiki.debian.org/KDE/Jessie/kontact and saw that I
actually have to install baloo4 which conflicts with baloo-kf5. But it
looks like this did the trick.

Sorry for the noise,

Bug#800656: khotkeys: Windows key can not be addressed

2015-10-02 Thread Singer Michael
Package: khotkeys
Version: 4:5.4.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Each scale as key combination with the Windows key and any other such as Win +
X is not working. The Windows key appears from khotkeys not be approachable.

The error occurred here reproducible on two different KDE installations.

Placed action in the system settings:
Calling "Kurzbefehle/Eigene Kurzbefehle", right-clicking in the middle field,
on the context menu "Neu/Globaler Kurzbefehl/Befehl Adresse" is selected and an
"Aktion" deposited eg starting a console (konsole --profile "Shell"). In the
tab "Auslöser" the shortcut "Win + X" is entered.

Note: The tool xev recognizes the Windows key and correct time to a keycode.

Regards
Michael Singer
