I moved LMS to picore a while back, and am no expert on windows, but have noticed "permission" issues with windows 10 that were not there initially but came about during an update. This might be what you are seeing. Check out this thread, where @gordonb3, and @d6jg mention windows UAC (User Account Control) - https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?115832-LMS-Has-Stopped-Working-Cannot-Get-It-Working-Again My permission issues magically appeared after I had to fresh install windows because of the dreaded "startup repair" loop to nowhere. I reinstalled freefilesync and all of a sudden got "you don't have permission to access this folder" even though I was logged in as admin. I had to explicitly launch ffs via "run as administrator" Jim Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115946 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I can't help I'm afraid apart from Saying that having run LMS in Windows for a number of years I got frustrated with the occasional loss of settings and other glitches that I have switched to piCoreplayer which seems a lot more stable. Manually forcing LMS to then load is easy enough - but I often log out and in of Win to fix the issue, in case there's anything else that is behaving oddly. [slim] LMS on Windows 10: does LMS load before login?
I recently rebooted my server and noticed that the players did not connect. So I logged into my Windows 10 server and noticed that AS I LOGGED IN LMS seemed to load. I've been using LMS for over a decade and I had not noticed this particular behavior before. I assumed that LMS would load into Windows 10 without someone physically having to log in. Am I missing a setting in Windows or LMS?
